Ekillibre

Ekillibre
The project in a few words

Launched in 2021, Ekillibre is a Belgian start-up that reinvents the school canteen by offering schools balanced, sustainable meals that support local producers. When we began collaborating, Ekillibre was delivering 5,000 meals. Today, over 8,500 meals are delivered each day to more than 170 schools in Wallonia and Brussels, thanks to the support of 22 caterers! The goal? To provide quality dishes that meet the nutritional needs of students. !

In 2024, Benoit Leplae, founder of Ekillibre, enlisted Nonante Cinq to shed more light on his project, as well as to work on his personal branding as an entrepreneur. This objective was achieved, given that numerous media outlets have covered it, including L’Écho, VivaCité, La Une, Moustique, La Libre Éco, LN24, etc.! Following an appearance on "On n'est pas des pigeons", the start-up received numerous incoming requests, demonstrating the concrete impact that a public relations campaign can have on a business.

In 2025 and 2026, we continued to support Ekillibre in its relations with the press. One of the highlights was the launch of their fair trade purchasing centre, launched in collaboration with Infinity Food, an organisation founded by Jérémy Vandyck. Media outlets such as L'Echo, La DH, Sudinfo, Télé MB, Gondola, and L-Post took an interest in the project.
