Sophie Vanden Plas

Originally from Genval, Sophie Vanden Plas is a recognised figure in the educational sector in Belgium, with over fourteen years of experience in teaching French at secondary level. She founded Evocation to provide methodological support to students, teachers, and parents, and created the non-profit organisation Out of the Books in 2018 to support education professionals.

In 2025, Sophie Vanden Plas published her book "Successfully Transitioning from Primary to Secondary", a practical guide focused on learning effective study methods. This book offers operational sheets to help students organise themselves and approach the transition from primary to secondary school with confidence. She approached us to ensure the media promotion of this work to reach parents, teachers, and the general public.

The campaign generated significant media coverage, with features on VivaCité, Fun Radio, and BX1, as well as articles in L’Avenir and on Maison Slash. This visibility helped position Sophie Vanden Plas as a reference on issues related to school transition and learning methods.
